About

Hi, I'm Filipa.

Innerscapism is where the different parts of my work and life meet: how we design the world around us, and how we make space for ourselves inside it.

From buildings to products

I started in architecture, where I first became interested in the relationship between people and the environments they move through.

That interest followed me into UX and product ownership. The spaces became digital: products, services and the systems behind them. For the past ten years, I've worked with companies like Tekever and BMW, mostly in Scrum and agile teams.

Making, moving, slowing down

I've been an amateur artist since I was two years old. Alongside my product work, I've kept exploring art, creative practice and contemplative living, and I'm developing my practice in yoga and creative wellbeing. I recently completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training in Bali, and I'm a student at SPAT, the Portuguese Society of Art Therapy (Sociedade Portuguesa de Arte-Terapia).

Why both

I kept noticing the same question from two sides. How we feel inside shapes what we build, and what we build shapes how we feel. Innerscapism is my evolving practice for working with both: creative experiences that make space to reconnect, and human-centred design that brings the same attention into products, workplaces and systems.

I don't see myself as an expert in every one of these fields. What I bring is the connection between them, and a lot of curiosity.
